Grime Groomer is an all-purpose detailing cleaner — a highly concentrated alkaline degreaser. Non-phosphate, non-butyl formula — the kind of clean-chemistry choice that most brands won't make because butyl is cheap. Dilutes from 1:10 for heavy degreasing all the way to 1:30 for light interior work. Safe on leather.
Why Non-Butyl Matters
2-butoxyethanol (butyl) is a common APC ingredient because it's cheap and effective at cutting grease. It's also harsh on surfaces, leaves a strong chemical smell, and can be absorbed through the skin with repeated exposure. Grime Groomer achieves the same degreasing power without it — important for detailers using it all day, and for clients who'd rather not smell it in their cars afterward.
Dilute 1 part Grime Groomer with 10–30 parts water depending on soil conditions. Spray or wipe onto surface — do not saturate. Scrub with a brush if needed, then rinse with clean water. On interiors, apply diluted, agitate, and wipe clean without over-wetting.
