Paint Pomade is a ceramic spray sealant built on SiO2 resins and cross-linking polymers. Spray on any exterior surface after washing, wipe in, and walk away with 3 months of hyper-slick protection. Silicone-free despite the SiO2 formula — confirmed safe on matte, satin, and ceramic-coated paint.
SiO2 Without Silicone — Here's the Difference
Silicon dioxide (SiO2) is a naturally occurring mineral compound — the same material used in quartz and glass. It's not the same as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), which is what "silicone" refers to in detailing. Paint Pomade uses SiO2 chemistry for its hardness and slickness without any of the silicone contamination concerns that cause fisheyes, bonding failures, or matte surface damage.
Works On
- Paintwork — gloss, satin, and matte clear coats
- Glass — hydrophobic sheeting effect
- Plastic trim, rubber moldings
- Wheels (non-polished)
- Ceramic-coated surfaces — adds a sacrificial layer on top
After washing, spray Paint Pomade liberally onto the surface and into a clean microfiber towel. Wipe into all exterior surfaces. Flip the towel and wipe again to a dry, streak-free finish. Work panel by panel for best results.
